Dear Mr President

Pursuant to Senate Order 21 agreed on 25 June 2014, relating to Estimates hearings and questions taken on notice, I advise that the former Department of Jobs and Small Business and then portfolio agencies received 59 questions from the 2019 20 Budget Estimates hearing on 5 and 10 April 2019.

Of the responses to questions not submitted by the due date, 59 were provided to the then Minister for Jobs and Industrial Relations between 16 April and 6 May 2019. Responses to questions were submitted to the Committee Secretariat between 18 June and 31 July 2019.

Following Machinery of Government changes, 27 questions relating to industrial relations and former agencies were transferred to the Attorney-General's portfolio.

After a Senate motion was agreed to on 29 July 2019, the remaining 32 questions for the Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business were tabled by the revised date of31 July 2019.
