MEDIA RELEASE SF/96. Wednesday November 22, 2006

FAMILY FIRST condemns the Bracks Government for selling out Victorian families.

A vote for Labor is now a vote for the Greens.

It is outrageous to think Labor would allow this to happen.

Labor has made a grubby preference deal with the Greens, which means that a vote for Labor is a vote against Victorian families.

It is shocking that Labor would strike a deal with the Greens, virtually guaranteeing them the balance of power, when the Greens' policies are so anti-family.

The extreme Greens are anti-family and anti-business with radical policies to open shooting galleries across Victoria, give free heroin to addicts, abolish criminal sanctions for drug users, ban new roads and dams and replace the status of animals from 'property' to 'beings' with legal rights.

Last month the Greens revealed that Labor Minister Gavin Jennings had already spoken to them about bringing the Victorian Parliament back in December after the election.

This proves that the Bracks Government is out of touch with ordinary Victorian families and has turned its back on families and their needs.
