More than 120 Part-Time Army Reserve Officers will be graduating at the Royal Military College tomorrow after a challenging, difficult and demanding course.

The parade will also mark the completion of officer training for the first two East Timor Defence Force (ETDF) 2nd Lieutenants to attend the Royal Military College of Australia. They will return to East Timor to take up platoon command positions and continue their training with the Australian developed ETDF training school, a project within Australia’s extensive regional Defence Co-operation Program.

The Hon Fran Bailey MP, Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Defence, will be the Reviewing Officer of the Part-Time General Service Officer Graduation Parade to be held at the Royal Military College Duntroon on Saturday 16 February 2002.

Media wishing to attend are to meet in the carpark at Duntroon House at 0915hrs, the parade ground will be accessible to media on the proviso that there is no interference with the parade.
