Speaking at the official launch in Canberra, Minister for Small Business and Tourism, Fran Bailey, said “ is the gateway for small business to access government information and services and has been upgraded to ensure it continues to meet the needs of small businesses across Australia."

“Thanks to a major upgrade, now features simplified navigation, improved search tools, increased usability and functionality.

“This business gateway is extremely popular with small business operators, who appreciate round-the-clock information and support. In fact, the site receives an incredible 170,000 visits a month.

“After listening to the feedback from small business users, the upgraded site now includes ‘How to’ guides for starting and growing a business, information on business planning and detailed information on superannuation, taxation, employment and grants.

“This web site is an excellent business resource and I would urge small business operators to visit and check out the vast array of practical information, advice and support available, including the popular ABN-Lookup service.

“Following today’s launch of the new site there will be ongoing opportunities for small businesses to provide their feedback - so keep the suggestions for further improvements flowing!

“This Government recognises small business is a vital cog in the economic wheel. provides Australian small businesses with valuable information that will assist in starting and growing a business.

“Whether you’re starting a business or expanding your business, provides a one-stop shop.”
