GOOD SALES AT NEVI ZEALAND DISPLAY

Over $100,000 worth of sales were made by

exhibitors in the Australian pavilion during the first

two days of the Auckland Easter Show which opened at the week—end.

In addition, there was a substantial volume of

trade inquiries from New Zealand businessmen visiting the Australian display.

The Australian exhibits received good press and television coverage despite the extensive coverage of the Royal Tour.

the Australian pavilion where 47 Australian firms are

showing a wide range of exports including automotive

products,. textiles and fashion goods, agricultural

machinery, building supplies, general engineering equipment and food and wine.

Leading New Zealand businessmen said Australia-_ was achieving a first class impact on the New-Zeeland -Market with the display.
