NOTES ON AMENDMENTS
Amendment 1: Schedule 1, item 14, page 5 (before line 17), before subsection 13G(2), insert:
1. This amendment inserts subsection 13G(1A) to make it clear that section 13G is a civil penalty provision, and as such the Regulatory Powers (Standard Provisions) Act 2014 will apply. The Note outlines that section 80U of the Privacy Act 1988 deals with civil penalty provisions .
