Summary

Amends the: A New Tax System (Family Assistance)(Administration) Act 1999, Social Security Act 1991, Social Security (Administration) Act 1999 and Veterans’ Entitlements Act 1986 to establish a national income management regime for certain welfare payment recipients; A New Tax System (Family Assistance) Act 1999 and A New Tax System (Family Assistance)(Administration) Act 1999 to amend baby bonus payment arrangements for claimants subject to the income management regime; and Income Tax Assessment Act 1936, Social Security Act 1991 and Social Security (Administration) Act 1999 to replace the Community Development Employment Projects program in the Northern Territory with other employment services.
