          (2A)  Despite regulations made for the purposes of paragraph 44(2)(b) of the Legislation Act 2003 , section 42 (disallowance) of that Act applies to a direction made under subsection (1).

Part 2—Other provisions

34  Application of amendments

       The amendments made by this Schedule apply in relation to a legislative instrument that is registered on or after the commencement of this Schedule.

35  Affirmative resolution

(1)       This item applies to a legislative instrument that:

                     (a)  is made on or after the commencement of this Schedule; and

                     (b)  is made for the purpose of paragraph 44(2)(b) of the Legislation Act 2003 ; and

                     (c)  has the effect of exempting a legislative instrument made under the Biosecurity Act 2015 from section 42 (disallowance) of the Legislation Act 2003 .

(2)       The legislative instrument does not come into effect until it has been approved by a resolution of each House of the Parliament.
