 (1)    Schedule 6, page 50 (lines 1 to 18), omit the Schedule, substitute:

Schedule 6 — Repeal of luxury car tax

   

A New Tax System (Luxury Car Tax) Act 1999

1  The whole of the Act

Repeal the Act.

A New Tax System (Luxury Car Tax Imposition—Customs) Act 1999

2  The whole of the Act

Repeal the Act.

A New Tax System (Luxury Car Tax Imposition—Excise) Act 1999

3  The whole of the Act

Repeal the Act.

A New Tax System (Luxury Car Tax Imposition—General) Act 1999

4  The whole of the Act

Repeal the Act .

Crimes (Taxation Offences) Act 1980

5  Section 3

Repeal the following definitions:

                     (a)  definition of luxury car tax ;

                     (b)  definition of Luxury Car Tax Act ;

                     (c)  definition of luxury car tax law .

6  Part II (note to Part heading)

Omit “; (i) luxury car tax (see Part X)”.

7  Part X

Repeal the Part.
