Senator Dame Margaret Guilfoyle - On 18 March I 980 (Hansard, page 711). Senator Baume asked me, as Minister representing the Minister for Health, a question without notice concerning obligations on travel agents to advise prospective passengers of the health standards on cruise ships.

The Minister for Health has provided the following information:

Inquiries made by my Department confirm that there is no requirement for travel agents to advise prospective passengers on the state of health on the passenger ships on which their clients will travel.
