Senator CARRICK (New South WalesLeader of the Government in the Senate) (Vice-President of the Executive Council) - I inform the Senate that the Treasurer (Mr Howard) has left Australia to attend meetings in West Germany, the Philippines and Switzerland. The Minister for Finance (Mr Eric Robinson) will act as Treasurer until Mr Howard's return on 3 May. I also inform the Senate that the AttorneyGeneral (Senator Durack) left Australia last Friday to attend meetings in Barbados, the United States of America and the United Kingdom. The Minister for Home Affairs and Minister for the Capital Territory (Mr Ellicott) will act as Attorney-General until Senator Durack 's return on 10 May. During Senator Durack 's absence I suggest that questions directed to him should be placed on the Notice Paper or, if urgent, they could be directed to me and I shall endeavour to get the required information.
