Senator DURACK (Western AustraliaAttorneyGeneral) - I have not had the advantage of being present during the second reading debate. I hope that the second reading of the Commonwealth Serum Laboratories Amendment Bill will have the support of the Senate. I understand that subsequent to the Bill being read a second time it is proposed to refer it to a Senate committee. At this stage, I trust that the motion for the second reading of the Bill can be put and passed.

Question resolved in the affirmative.

Bill read a second time.

Referral to Standing Committee
