Senator RAE - My question is addressed to the Minister representing the Minister for Shipping and Transport. By way of brief preface I refer to the answer which he gave me earlier today about the potential for the use of LASH type ships in the Australian coastal trade. Will the Minister ascertain whether the experts in the Department of Shipping and Transport favour the use of this type of ship in any section of the Australian coastal trade and, if so, what are those sections and what are the advantages to those trades?
