Senator WRIEDT - Does the Minister for Civil Aviation agree that in no circumstances should air safety requirements, both for passengers and for crew, be neglected? Is he aware that on many peak hour nights it has become impossible for hostesses to serve both drinks and meals and be strapped in by the time required under regulation 244(1.) of the Air Navigation Regulations? If he disputes these occurrences, will he undertake to discuss the matter with the Air Hostesses Association in order to reach a proper solution on what has become an unreasonable imposition on its members?
