Senator SIM (WESTERN AUSTRALIA) - Is the Minister representing the Minister for Primary Industry aware that the price of urea imported from Queensland is now $84 a ton in Geraldton, Western Australia? In view of the undertaking given by the then Minister for Primary Industry, Mr Anthony, last year, that should the price exceed $80 a ton the Government would examine the situation again, I ask the Minister: Will the

Government examine the situation and in particular the suggestion that the bounty should apply to imports of urea from Japan which, it is estimated would save Geraldton producers between $56,000 and $70,000 annually?
