Senator Donald CAMERON - I preface my question to the Minister representing the Minister for Primary Industry by refering lo the Minister's reply to a question asked by Senator Young in which he stated that he believed that South Australia had not yet replied to the Government's draft agreement on rural reconstruction. Has the Minister been informed that a letter from the Minister for Lands in South Australia, the honourable Frank Kneebone, was forwarded to the Minister for Primary Industry on 28th January 1971 advising the South Australian Government's acceptance of the scheme? Has the Minister been informed also that Mr Kneebone received an acknowledgment on this matter from the Minister for Primary Industry on 4th February 1971? Would it be advisable for the Minister to - have closer consultations with the Minister for Primary Industry to ensure that in future the Senate and the people of Australia are not misinformed?

Opposition senators - Hear, hear!
