Senator MURPHY - I ask the Minister for Health whether he will make a statement to the Senate, not now but at some convenient time, indicating the nature of heart disease as a public health problem in Australia, the number of persons affected by it and those likely to die from it, and the economic consequences to Australia of it? 1 ask also whether he will make a statement to the Senate indicating the attitude of the National Health and Medical Research Council and of the Commonwealth Department of Health as to whether poly-unsaturated margarine should be freely available to those who wish to have it as an alternative to buller for health reasons?
