Senator RAE (TASMANIA) - I address a question to the Minister representing the PostmasterGeneral. Has the Minister's attention been drawn to a complaint by the Mayor of Launceston that it is difficult, if not impossibe, to contact the Launceston office of the Australian Broadcasting Commission outside ordinary working hours? Will the Minister investigate this complaint and take such action as may be desirable to arrange for that office of the ABC to be adequately staffed?

Senator Dame ANNABELLE RANKIN - I was not aware of this matter until the honourable senator asked his question this morning. I do not know whether the PostmasterGeneral is aware of it, but I shall certainly bring to his notice the point which the honourable senator raises.
