Senator ANDERSON (New South Wales) (Minister for Supply) - I indicate to the Senate that at the conclusion of today's sittings, which will go on until 10.30 p.m. - bearing in mind the hope that has been expressed previously of concluding the sittings by Thursday of next week - if the Senate finds itself in a critical position in relation to Government Business, I propose to give real consideration to moving next Tuesday that Government Business take precedence over General Business after 8 p.m. on Tuesday. That is only an indication of my present feelings on the matter. I do not want to move such a motion on Tuesday without having at least indicated that I am contemplating such a move, having regard to the work factor.
