Senator DOOLEY (NEW SOUTH WALES) (Assistant Minister assisting the Minister for Works and Railways) - The answers to the honorable senator's questions are as follow : -

1.   Yes.

2.   Yes.

3.   Sixty-two years.

4.   Fifty-one years.

5.   Mr. Worganhas had a number of years' experience as a Warden on gold-fields, and as a draughtsman. He performed the duties of Surveyor for sixteen years, was Acting Director of Lands and Acting Chief Surveyor for four and a half years, and was Acting Director of Mines and Acting Chief Warden for a period of twelve months. He has had 46 years' public service, principally in connexion with lands, surveys and mining work.

6.   Mr. Belloccupies the position of Warden and of Assayer in the Mines Branch of the North Australian Service. He has had fifteen years' service in North Australia. The greater part of his mining experience has been in the capacity of assayer and mine manager. He has a good knowledge of mining generally, and has acted for the Chief Warden on several occasions.
