(a)   That estimates of national wealth of Australia are compiled at two-yearly intervals, the latest compilation being that for 30th June, 1927, which has been prepared but is not yet published.

(b)   That the basis of such estimates, which relate to the private wealth of Australia, is published in detail in the official Year-Book, No. 21 of1928 page 415, and following pages in connexion with the estimate for 1925.

(c)   That the estimated total private wealth of Australia at the last four points of estimating were as follows: -

(d)   That the items included in the estimates for 30th June, 1927, are as follows: -

Estimate of Private Wealth of Australia as at 30th June, 1927.

(e)   That the length of time elapsing before an estimate of wealth is available is due to the wide range of statistical data employed, of which those data relating to values of land and improvements and accounting for nearly two-thirds of the total value are necessarily very slow in compilation.
