Senator LONG (TASMANIA) - Can the Minister representing the Postmaster-General say if anything is being done, or is proposed to be done, to comply with the wishes of the residents of King Island for wireless communication with either the mainland or Tasmania? Honorable senators know that an application for some relief has frequently Been made to the Department under both the present Government and the previous one.

Senator Millen - Is this a question or a speech?

Senator LONG - Do the present Government propose to do anything in the way of giving these isolated people the relief which they have unsuccessfully sought for the past two or three years ?
