Senator NEEDHAM asked the Minister representing the Minister of Trade and Customs, upon notice -

1.   Is the Minister aware that statements are being made that since Sydney has been quarantined some people who submitted themselves to vaccination have suffered the loss of an arm by amputation as the result of such vaccination?

2.   Will the Minister cause inquiries to be made to test the validity of these statements?

3.   Is it the intention of the Government to seek the advice of experts so as to ascertain whether or not the disease at present existent, and as a result of which Sydney has been quarantined, is really small-pox?
