Senator OAKES (NEW SOUTH WALES) - In view of the fact that the constitution of the Senate is based upon the preservation of State interests, on behalf of New South Wales I wish to ask the Minister representing the Prime Minister whether it is the intention of the Government to continue the policy of their predecessors in competing with the States for the Savings Bank business, more especially in view of the fact that the States are managing that business successfully?
