Senator MILLEN (New" South Wales) . - This is a clause in regard to which I should like some information from the Government. Paragraph c reads - " Every blind male person under the age of sixty-five years, and every blind female person under the age of sixty years,, shall be deemed to be earning wages equal to the amount which he or she could earn by reasonable effort."

One is tempted to ask, first of all, what standard is to be set up. I should like to hear from the Government how it is proposed to apply this provision.
