Senator McGREGOR (South Australia) (Vice-President of the Executive Council) . - Of course, the AuditorGeneral will take very good care that there are no irregular transactions in connexion with these properties. I do not know what may happen in a few years, when the work of the Commonwealth extends, but for the present this business will be under the control of the Department of Home Affairs. The rents received will go into the Consolidated Revenue. I have every confidence in the Auditor-General, and we can rely upon it that he will see to it that nothing irregular takes place.
