Senator CLEMONS - I wish to ask the Vice-President of the Executive Council whether the Government will take steps to ascertain whether there has been any leakage in connexion with the report of the Sugar Commission; and, secondly, whether they will make inquiries as to the means and methods by which such leakage occurred ?

Senator McGREGOR - Every Government, and especially this Government, are desirous that confidential matters should remain confidential. When leakages occur, this Government, like every other Government, would be pleased to find out the guilty parties, and to treat them as they ought to be treated.
