Senator McGREGOR (South Australia) (Vice-President of the Executive Council) . - I desire to reply to the debate very briefly. I have to thank honorable senators opposite for exhibiting no desire to delay the passing of this measure in any way. I wish also to thank honorable senators on this side for the forbearance they have displayed in refraining from replying to some of the alleged arguments used on the other side. As we have had a fairly exhaustive debate on the second reading, I hope we shall be able to pass the measure through Committee, and also to pass the third reading this afternoon.
