Senator McGREGOR (South Australia) (Vice President of the Executive Council) . - The amendment is so simple, and so obviously necessary that I did not think any explanation was required. Honorable senators who turn to the copies of the Act which have been distributed, will find that the first line of section 13 says - " If it is alleged that the owner or any ship " and so on. The amendment omits the word "or," which obviously is a mistake, and substitutes the right word "of." I may add that I was almost in the same position as the Leader of the Opposition. I did not know until I came here to-day that it would be necessary to move the adoption of such an amendment.
