Senator MILLEN (New South Wales) . - May I remind the Minister that in giving his information to the Senate regarding this matter the other day, he said that unless some arrangement were arrived at the question would not be re-opened. I do not know of any arrangement. I take it from what the Minister said that there was some hope or possibility of an arrangement being made.

Senator Playford - I meant an arrangement between the two parties.

Senator MILLEN - I merely remind the honorable senator that the language which he used suggested the possibility of the Government bringing forward the matter again under certain circumstances. I take it that Senator Clemons wants to know whether that is the intention of the Government. The Senate has a right to know whether the Government intends to bring forward the Bill again or not.
