Senator McGREGOR (South Australia) . - I think Senator Symon is slightly under a misapprehension when he says that there is no necessity for the word "blended" and the word "standard" to remain. The object of these recommendations . by the Commission was thatthe standard brandy of Australia should be a brandy distilled from wine up to a certain strength, and that the blended wine brandy should be a mixture or a blend of brandy distilled up to a certain strength, and wine spirit distilled to a higher strength.
