Senator PEARCE (for Senator Staniforth Smith) asked the Minister representing the Minister of Home Affairs, upon notice - "1. Is the Government aware that under the present conditions many months frequently elapse before a decision is arrived at in the determination of appeals made to the Appeal Board created under the" Public Service Act, more particularly in the case of suspensions.

2.   Will the Government favorably consider the advisability of making such alterations in the constitution of the Appeal Board created under the Public Service Act as will insure a more speedy determination of these appeals.
