Senator PLAYFORD (SOUTH AUSTRALIA) (Minister for Defence) - Of course, I shall go on with the Bill. The statement referred to makes no difference at all. I have not yet had time to read this morning's newspapers, but I have no doubt that the honorable senator has correctly represented the substance of the parliamentary report. The remarks attributed to the Premier are exactly in accord with those expressed bv him in a written communication to the Prime Minister of the Commonwealth. South Australia is ouite willing to allow a survey to be made, but is determined to have a voice in the selection of the route of the line before consenting to its construction.
