Senator DOBSON (TASMANIA) - Has the Ministerof Defence read the newspaper account of last night's proceedings in the South Australian Parliament ? When the Premier of the State was asked if he would introduce a Bill assenting to the survey of the proposed line from Kalgoorlie to Port Augusta, seeing that the Federal Senate had virtually agreed to it, he replied that he proposed to do so, subject to the conditions alreadv named in regard to. the mute. Does the Minister understand that the South Australian Government reserve the right to approve or reject the route determined upon ; and, if so, is he, in spite of that fact, going on with the Bill ?
