Senator PLAYFORD (South AustraliaMinister of Defence) . - I have asked the Treasurer to endeavour to get the Appropriation Bill through another place' as early as possible, because I recognise the force of what Senator Clemons has said. It is only fair that the Senate should be given a reasonable time to- discuss the Estimates for the year. With respect to the business to_ be taken to-morrow, we shall deal first with Senator Keating's motion for a call of the Senate. We shall take afterwards the Constitution Alteration (Senate Elections) Bill, and then we shall go on with the Kalgoorlie-Port Augusta Railway Survey Bill, and possibly the Audit Bill.

Question resolved in the affirmative.
