Senator PLAYFORD (South Australia) (Minister of Defence) . - I have made inquiries of honorable senators who have private business on the notice-paper for to-morrow. Senator Pearce has business standing in his name. I asked him whether he would be prepared to consent to the Senate adjourning till 7.30 tomorrow evening, but he told me that he desired to go on with his business. Personally, I am willing that the Senate shall adjourn until 7.30 to-morrow.
