Punishment of a Witness.

SenatorPEARCE asked the Minister representing the Attorney-General, upon notice -

1.   Have the Government completed their inquiry into the case of James Stone, who, it is alleged, was discharged by the British Australasian Tobacco Company. Sydney, because of evidence given by him before the Royal Commission on Tobacco Mononoly?

2.   If so, do the Government proposeto take any further steps in the matter?
