Senator McGREGOR (SOUTH AUSTRALIA) - In explanation, sir, I desire to say that I was really forgetful of the standing order at the time; but that on account of the way in which the Senate was treated, particularly the members of the Labour Party, I could not remain in the chamber.


The PRESIDENT - I only called attention to the standing order, and not to the motive of the honorable senator.
