Senator PULSFORD (New South Wales) . - Surely honorable senators will not be misled bv a suggestion so ridiculous as that made by Senator Croft. Dumping is a business of a spasmodic character, and no one would dream of entering into an arrangement for dumping goods and losing money on them for twenty years. The suggestion is absurd.


Senator Croft - Does the honorable senator mean to say that warehouses do not make their contracts years ahead?


Senator PULSFORD - No one would dream of contracting to lose money twenty years ahead. There is no reason to fear that a ridiculous contract of that kind will be made.
