Senator Lt Col GOULD - A shorttime ago Senator Pearce drew attention to the dismissal of a man named Stone by the British- Australasian Tobacco Company, and the Minister of Defence said that he would cause an inquiry to be made into the whole of the circumstances, and lay a report upon the table of the Senate. I desire to ask the honorable senator, without notice, whether an inquiry has been made, and, if so, under what circumstances and with what result?
