The PRESIDENT [6 - Perhaps I may be permitted to say a few words on the motion. I deprecate any discussion on this matter. I do not think that the Senate should condescend to discuss it, because it is self-evident that the Printing Committee of the House of Representatives did not understand the position in which they were placed. Neither the Printing Committee of the House. of Representatives, the joint Committee, nor the House of Representatives itself has any right to cen-. sure the Senate, and still less have thev any right to ask the Prime 'Minister to take a part in any such censure. I think it would be as well if honorable senators passed the motion unanimously, without condescending to discuss the question.
