Senator WALKER (New South Wales) - - I find that a good many of my honorable friends are going to part company with me on this occasion, for I intend to support the second reading of the Bill. I am looked upon by some foolish persons as a Tory, but whenever a good proposal is made I am willing to support its adoption. I have had the pleasure of seeing a voting machine at work, and it seemed to me to be as nearly perfect as is possible.
