Senator FRASER (Victoria) .- I indorse every word which has fallen from Senator Gould. It ought to be made clear, as I have no doubt ihe Ministry in tended, that the Bill does not apply in any way to the acquirement of land for the purpose of the Federal Capital site. It was always intended that the Federal Capital should be created by a Bill passed through both Houses, and I hope the Ministers will give attention to the suggestion that has been made.

Amendment, by leave, withdrawn.
