Senator MILLEN (New South Wales) . - I take it that the object in moving the suspension of the Standing Orders is to conclude the consideration of the Bill this week in anticipation of an adjournment of the Senate.

Senator Keating - To enable the. Bill to be dealt with in another place during the period of that adjournment.

Senator MILLEN - It is anticipated that there will be an adjournment, otherwise there would be no justification for submitting the motion.

Question resolved in the affirmative.

Bill read a third time.
