Senator DOBSON (Tasmania) . - This afternoon I interjected that in my opinion£5 was a very small penalty to impose. Senator Symon pointed out that it was only to be inflicted upon a man for stating that a design was registered when it was not, but I observe that the words " knowingly falsely represent " are used in the clause. It appears to me that for a miximum a fine of£5 is a very small punishment to inflict upon , any one who has falsely done anything. It ought to be increased to£20.
