Senator KEATING (Tasmania) (Honorary Minister) . - I suggest that, as was done on previous similar occasions, the consideration of the definitionclause be postponed until after the remainder of the Bill has been dealt with. That is a procedure which has been followed to the great convenience of all honorable senators.

Senator Sir JOSIAHSYMON (South Australia) [4.2]. - I think that is quite a reasonable request on the part of the Minister, and I only ask him to consider the suggestions which were submitted in the course of the second-reading debate.

Senator Keating - I have a note of those suggestions.

Clause postponed.
