Senator STAN IFORTH SMITH (WESTERN AUSTRALIA) - After listening to the speech of the honorable senator, in advocating the abrogation of the bookkeeping system, one would form a very poor idea of the honesty of Australian politicians. I refer especially to Senator Dobson, who, in the recess, went all over Tasmania pointing out the desirableness of advocating the abolition of the bookkeeping provisions, and pointing out how much his own State would make out of Western Australia.

Question resolved in the affirmative.
