Senator GIVENS (QUEENSLAND) - I desire to ask the Minister of Defence, without notice, whether, in view of the fact that the session is likely to end to-day or to-morrow, he will afford me an opportunity, say, halfanhourafter the recess for luncheon, to take a division on my motion respecting the nationalization of the sugar industry, which has been fully discussed during the session? I would remind the honorable senator that without my concurrence, he could not have deprived me of the opportunity to have it fully dealt with on Thursday last, and that I gave way to him upon getting his assurance that I should be afforded an opportunity to get a vote taken thereon.
