Senator GIVENS (Queensland) - I do not desire to oppose the motion, or to delay the transaction of Government business, but. I should like to know whether it will apply to to-morrow?

Senator Playford - Yes.

Senator GIVENS - I have a motion on the business-paper, which has been discussed very fully at various times during the session, and, at the request chiefly of honorable senators opposite, has been postponed from time to time. In the circumstances I think that it is only fair that I should receive some assurance from the Minister that I will be given an opportunity to take a division on the motion.

Senator Lt Col Gould - I think that one honorable senator has not yet completed his speech on the 'motion.
