Senator O'KEEFE (Tasmania) - The Minister has said that he does not look upon the amendment as a serious one, because its mover has indicated that even if it be carried he intends to vote against the motion. Being in an entirely different position from Senator Henderson, but still seeing that there is some force in the amendment, I would suggest to the Minister that ft is worth considering.

Senator Playford - All right ! Let it go on the voices.

Senator O'KEEFE - I am not particularlywedded to three or six months, but I think we ought to fix a period within which the agreement shall be signed. I accept the assurance of the Minister that he will not oppose the amendment.
